Roots of Wobbel

In early 2015, the Wobbelboard was born in our living room as a self-made 3rd birthday present for our youngest son. Since that day, we have been sharing it with everyone around the world. With Wobbel, we invite children to explore, create, and grow, trusting that the true essence of play resides within the child, not the toy. 

The Wobbelboard is a simple, open-ended tool that sparks imagination, movement, and discovery, adapting to the unique creativity of each child. The Wobbelboard encourages active engagement, fostering balance, coordination, problem-solving, and social skills through free, unstructured play. These are the foundational skills children need to thrive in life,

nurtured through joyful exploration rather than prescribed outcomes.

Everything in life wants to grow, to bloom, to thrive. We are at our best when we’re nurturing and enjoying that vibrant, organic spark.

On evenings, weekends, and holidays, you’ll find us outside enjoying nature or tending to our organic flower garden, surrounded by our three lively kids, two playful dogs, and three curious cats—and, of course, the zillion other creatures that make being outside so wonderful.
