born in our living room.
Never imagined our idea
would end up in your
living room.
It is not a balance board. It is an invitation, made with a great deal of love, to everything that lives inside a child.
What started as a homemade gift for our youngest son in early 2015 grew into an invitation we have been sharing with everyone around the world ever since. A swing, a slide, a stage, a boat, a lounge chair, a yoga mat, a friend. What it becomes is up to the child. Every single time.

Wobbelyoga · Amsterdam
Children's yoga teacher Rianne Roodbeen contacts Hannelore in early 2017. She has discovered the calming effect of the rocking motion. In April 2017, they launch Wobbelyoga together in Amsterdam. The rhythmic movement on the board calms body and mind, strengthens body awareness, and leaves children stepping off with a big smile.
Milk Magazine Award · Playtime Paris
At the international children's trade fair Playtime Paris, Milk Magazine awards Wobbel the Product of the Fair prize. The editorial team describes the board as multifunctional, both aesthetic and pedagogical.
Zabawka Roku · Warschau
In the 11th edition of the Polish "Zabawka Roku, Nagroda Rodziców", Wobbel wins in the sports toy category. Confirmed by multiple independent Polish media.
Good Toy Award · Tokyo Toy Museum
The Tokyo Toy Museum awards Wobbel the Good Toy prize, granted through voting by approximately 6,000 certified toy consultants in Japan.
Permanent collection Toy Museum Mechelen
The Wobbel board is added to the permanent collection of the Toy Museum in Mechelen, Belgium. Not as a temporary exhibition, but as a permanent part of the collection.
Ten years. 42 countries. Still the same spark.
Present in living rooms around the world, in 42 countries. Each still handmade in Europe, finished in our own workshop. The Wobbel has not changed. And as Hannelore says: we are far from done.
