Origin of wood
Our wood comes from European forests under controlled management. All wooden products with the brand Wobbel are bent at an FSC® certified wood bending workshop in Europe. Among other things, the Wobbel is made of European FSC® certified beech wood that has been treated with child-friendly lacquers and stains. For Wobbels with special types of wood, we use core layers of FSC® certified European beech wood and carefully selected top layers of FSC® certified and controlled wood types from within and outside Europe. In addition, the bending shop is very efficient with its raw materials and waste is kept to a minimum. For example, residual wood is also used to heat the spaces and the press moulds.
The wood of the Wobbel carries the FSC® Mix claim: it comes from FSC-certified forests, recycled material and controlled sources.
Origin felt
Our EKO wool felt is made from the best available natural felt from a local supplier. Our unique pressed felt for the Wobbel Starter and 360 is mainly made from recycled soft drink bottles, between 10 and 20 PET bottles per Wobbel.
Origin of packaging
Our packaging is made entirely from recycled and recyclable cardboard. The logo is applied with ink that does not interfere with the recycling process.
Own workshop
All Wobbels are manufactured in Europe and finished in the Netherlands. After quality control, they leave from our own workshop in Wageningen.
