The Wobbel Starter is made for the youngest explorers. It naturally becomes part of the play: cuddly toys, blocks and wooden animals find their place on it, under it and around it. And it invites movement: lying, rocking, crawling, pulling up, standing carefully. Exactly at your child's own pace.

No buttons, no batteries, no instructions on how to play. Precisely because it doesn't dictate anything, your child can do anything with it. It follows what your child wants, can do and needs. And when things go quiet? It waits patiently for the next adventure.

For children who are still discovering

The Starter suits young children up to around 2 to 2.5 years. But it's also lovely for slightly older children who need a little more time and calm in their motor development. It's not age that decides, but what feels right for your child right now. Flipped over, the wider corners add extra stability, and despite its small size it won't give way when mum, dad or an older child steps on: it carries up to 100 kg.

Why does a Wobbel cost more than a simple board?

Because you pay for what it's truly worth. A Wobbel is made in a European wood-bending workshop, with fair wages and no shortcuts, and shipped with love from our workshop in Wageningen. Every board is carefully finished: smooth edges, beautiful wood, nothing that peels or splinters. And when your child has outgrown it, it's still worth something. You pass it on, or sell it for a good price.

What if it's not for us after all?

Then simply send it back. You have 60 days, no questions asked and no need to explain why. We're convinced you'll keep it. But the choice is entirely yours.

Starter or Original?

Choose the Starter if your child is still young, or if your child likes a little more stability in their motor development. Looking for one Wobbel that grows from toddler to adult? Then choose the Original: our most popular family Wobbel.

With or without felt?

Both are possible. If you choose felt, the underside gets a layer of EKO felt. It protects hard floors and the Wobbel itself, adds extra grip and dampens noise. The felt comes in several colours, so it matches your home perfectly.

Will my child really play with it?

Precisely because it doesn't dictate anything, it never gets old. First rocking and lying, then crawling, pulling up and first steps, later building, hiding and story time. Need some inspiration? Our free Wobbelcards are full of ideas.

What will you see happen?

No two children discover the Wobbel in the same way. One rocks in it for hours, another pulls up on it straight away, a third tucks the teddy bear in for a nap. You'll see things you would never have thought of.
